Whatever Will Be, Will Be (Que sera, sera) written by Ray Evans, Jay Livingston

Error description

I added the visual performance: The Man Who Knew Too Much

I think possibly the title should be reversed: "Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)" and that

"Whatever Will Be, Will Be (Que sera, sera)" is an alternative title used by Doris Day in her performance:

The song received the 1956 Academy Award for Best Original Song with the alternative title "Whatever Will Be, Will Be (Que Sera, Sera)". It was the third Oscar in this category for Livingston and Evans, who previously won in 1948 and 1950.

Moe, some remarks;

1) The visual performance does not contain a performance.

2) The Academy Award was awarded to the song in 1957. See: https://www.oscars.org/oscars/ceremonies/1957

1) The visual performance does not contain a performance.

I'm aware. Do you know if it was played during credits or in a scene?

The Academy Award was awarded to the song in 1957.

You are absolutely correct, awarded in 1957 for works from 1956. Maybe better to explicitly say "the 29th Academy Awards in 1957" to avoid confusion?

I meant to link it to the work, not the performance. Did I do it wrong?

Well, according to Wikipedia Doris Day sings the song at two points in the film.

Wikipedia makes the same mistake, although I'm not sure whether it is indeed a mistake. To avoid any confusion it's probably better to use the more precise formulation (is that proper English?) you did suggest.

No, I mistyped, it's linked to the work.

Are we good here, or is there still something oustanding?

The only remark in this whole topic that is relevant to the entry Whatever Will Be, Will Be (Que sera, sera) is the one regarding the title, and that remark is rejected.

Apart from that Limbabwe's remark that The Man Who Knew Too Much is empty still holds.
