History
I've added the logo.
Dany, it's not if you see a Decca logo, it is automatically Decca. For Japan releases, it usually means a collaboration or license deal.
On recent CD compilations, I've seen logos of vintage labels that ceased to exist for years. If you can show me these releases were FIRST on a different label, then you have a case.
The kind of information we use for cataloging is the information of phonographic copyright, the prefixes (UCC) en EANs.
If you take the UCCJ page and click on EAN, you will see a perfect chronology.
Hi walt, I hadn't read this until this afternoon
(As you well know, Lately I've been very busy... philosophizing)
I know what you want to tell me... but look at a few things.
All the labels I say are current labels, living and not vintage labels.
I haven't seen the logo you added on any of the records.
This hypothetical label (Universal Classics & Jazz Japan) is not in discogs and that's rare
This beautiful and perfect record grouping only follows one fact: the records were made in Japan.
In relation to the true concept of a record label, this grouping turns out to be, in my opinion, an artifact...
but well, one may be wrong...
