I'm following Jon's comment in the thread: Rendezvous and Gigolo are in dictionaries as words in the English language and so should be capitialised. Mamma mia and bella notte are not (in my dictionary at least), and are phrases not words. Any inconsistencies in Mamma mia were down to entries being added before the guideline existed. No other editors have expressed a counterview.

As usual, the matter (in my view) just died out and was not resolved.


Going by your position (in dictionary or not), I believe I provided a dictionary that had "Mamma Mia", so should all theMamma mias be changed back? If not, how do you reconcile?


This is the problem with not nailing down a clean resolution when issues are presented....
