Looks like it uses some (uncredited) samples from a Mahavishnu Orchestra song called Planetary Citizen.

I don't know how it went, but at least the "Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey" part is quite clear to my ears.

Also, one of these link suggests the existance of another sample and the single came out on Feb. 11th.

Added the Mahavishnu sample. The other sample is supposed to be "Flowers of the Sea (To the Children)" by Era. I've listened to this song but I can't spot the sample right away.


Anyone else have an idea? I can send you the Era song if you like.

If this is the song, I can't spot the sample either. It's either heavily reworked or... a whole other song. Smile

Well, that's the song I listened to.


Btw, Discogs claims it also samples the break from Bom James' "Take me to the Mardi Gras": http://www.discogs.com/release/56753


It's possible, but I'm not convinced. Listen for yourself at Take Me to the Mardi Gras
