Formed by Fred Astaire, Elmer Bernstein, Jackie Mills and Tommy Wolf and based in Los Angeles, California. In December 1962, the label name was changed to Äva Records (name of Fred Astaire´s daughter) to avoid conflict with Dallas, Texas based Choreo Records Co.
