All-black musical revue featuring music by Duke Ellington. It opened at the Mayan Theater in Los Angeles and boasted a cast of 60, including the Ellington orchestra, Ivie Anderson, Marie Bryant, Joe Turner, Herb Jeffries, Dorothy Dandridge, and comedian Wonderful Smith.
