- "Set to Music" is a musical revue with sketches, music and lyrics by Noël Coward. This show originated in 1932 under the title of Words and Music in London. For the Broadway production "Set to Music" new songs were added and others taken out. It was directed by Coward and the revue starred Beatrice Lillie, who introduced I Went to a Marvellous Party. The show opened on January 18, 1939 at the Music Box Theatre in New York, where it ran for 129 performances.
