Samples from movies

Hello guys,

I wandered onto your site by accident, but i'm really interested in covers and samples. I was wondering if you are also interested in spotting samples from movies, used in music? As an example, I was once very surprised and delighted to discover that Nine Inch Nails used a sample from the very unknown movie THX1138 by George Lucas... I'm very much interested in this kind of thing...

Well we thought about that, but the structure of our database prevents an easy input of movie samples. If it's available on soundtrack we will add it, else we won't.

I think we will eventually start adding samples of movies, but not at this time. Íf the other administrators agree with me of course..

We've indeed thought of your suggestion but we've decided not to implement it right now. At the moment we're really focussing on our "core business". However, this is just the beginning of the website, so we might implement this in the future... but first we need to get this site rolling

I think THX1138 has been mentioned as an obscure movie so much over the years that we can't call it obscure anymore...

Lots of movies and literature use thx1138 as an indication for whatever scientifical ish they needed a name for...
