Regarding remixes: AIN'T THAT FUNKIN' KIND OF HARD ON YOU 2014, Funkadelic

So this is kind of an interesting one. From what I've seen remixes are largely ignored on SHS, but then along comes a big deal in the music world - Funkadelic's "From the First Ya Gotta Shake The Gate", their first album in three decades.

And the stars are lining up to collaborate: Ice Cube, Kendrick Lamar, Masters at Work...the list goes on. Only problem is they are "remixes".

So I guess mye question is: how are (significant) remixes handled by SHS?

(The usual disclaimer: I apologize if this has previously been discussed and settled).

Full disclosure: I think SHS would really benefit from a "Remixes" tab in addition to the "Samples" tab. The "Remix" has a long and proud history somewhere between the "Sample" and the "Cover Version".
