These officially released "web covers" are why I earlier recommended (and enhancement implemented) error reports for w-covers. Not as important to me but perhaps to others, someone researches a performance, files an error report on the w-cover, but the w-cover submitter gets the "credit".

Are you aware you would only be able to attribute error reports to editors?

Don't understand this response. While I can assign error reports, I rarely change who (if anyone) the system assigns.

As things typically go, I find/confirm a cover that I later find on site as a w-cover or (treating a w-cover as a lead), I search/confirm that a recording has been officially released. This results in two options: a) submit as normal, noting the incorrect w-cover or b) file an error report.

Not enough experience to determine the standard editor processing for option a); however, option b) results in my doing most of the work, yet the find gets credited to the w-cover submitter who didn't go through the trouble to research. As stated above, this isn't a huge deal for me personally, but to others?

Is there something in the works for adding web covers by joint performers? It would be nice to add this new Raffi/Yo-Yo Ma duet of "Baby Beluga":

Yes, that would be nice. If someone likes certain web cover, he would be able to view other performances by this youtube artist.

You have to work around it a bit. Go to the page of one of the artists, create a new alias, then move it to the appropriate artists.

After that, you can select that alias when adding the web cover.

Thanks Michael! I was able to follow your instructions clearly and add the web cover. Now to sleep with "Baby Beluga" running through my head...
