How would we treat Klingon?

It is in the language list for works, and one Klingon artist is on site.

Klingon Pop Warrior

I don't know if there are any other invented languages available to us.

So far, there are (only) eleven Klingon(ian) works, see Klingon, which match the ones by Klingon Pop Warrior you added. Possibly, there are a few more around having been attributed to other language categories.

There are indeed songs in other artificial languages, f. ex. Kobaian (invented by Magma leader Christian Vander but not in the drop down menu), or Esperanto (in the list but so far not selected).

Just a reminder that I separated artificial languages into two groups:

A) Those with independent significance outside of a specific musical work/performance; and

B) Those with no independent significance outside of a specific musical work/performance.

Group A should be recognized by SHS; Group B should not.

I just added Cold Duck Time, which features instrumental(ized) non-verbal lead vocals by Les McCann. So, what kind of vocalxxx do others think this is?

This, to me, is quintessential scat: Vocal jazz, no lyrics, with quasi-instrumental percussive characteristics, and, in this case, actually singing pretty much singing the instrumental melody line as composed (though that is not a required element of scat).

Makes sense to me.

Enough for you to tag this performance camembert electrique ?

Following the advise, now classified as 'scat'. Thanks.

It is my understanding that the current consensus is that the "scat" tag should be combined with some of the others into a single tag, Shouldn't we implement this before using any of the separates?

I agree (as already stated earlier on), but I wanted to get rid of the matter - and if that combined tag gets introduced, there will have to be some kind of automated implemenation to make it retrospectively come alive, anyway.

I see we still have separate "scat" and "vocalise" tags. It's my understanding that the consensus was and remains that they be combined to simplify the matter.

Why do matters like this continue to linger with no resolution? This one seems to be an easy implementation.

That seems reasonable.
