This processed submission includes unknown writers where SMDB itself states that they do not know who wrote the Swedish version - https://secondhandsongs.com/submission/104948

An unprocessed submission - https://secondhandsongs.com/submission/87051 - has no Spanish translator named although the attached screenshot shows the work in the Mexican SACM database - with the named artist Ha-Ash.

Could it be that Patsy Montana did her own translation or paid someone to do it on a flat fee basis? And therefore receives all the creator copyright income?

Idle curiosity.

Interesting question... Reckoning you looked up work no. 067112002:

Paying a lyricist on a flat fee basis may occure, but would be unusual.

I'd assume that someone (Ha-Ash herself?) did the Spanish translation either without the US publishing company's (resp. Mexican reprensentative's) written consent or with the obligation to refrain from authoring royalties.

In such cases only the original songwriters are registered and foreign language titles normally in ().

Hope this helps a bit.

So what should SHS show under translator?

"Not known" but not because we are too lazy to investigate.

If the release doesn't mention the translator, and the PRO databases don't list it, I would recommend to contact the performing artist. Has regularly been succestful in the past.

I'll concur with that. I've had success at least three times.
