If you mention someone in a message, they get an alert but there is no need for them to reply to the message. Previously the only way to alert someone was to request a reply, so we ended up with many messages that said “read”.

Great to see such a positive response to this 2021 improvement. All credit to Mathieu for implementing.

Unverified submissions, however, do not show the Spotify icon, even if the user has included a Spotify link. Have a look at the version list for Let Me Put My Love into You for example. This submission by Pommel includes a Spotify link but is not shown as such in the version list.

Yes, the "mentions" work fine... Thanks for checking and looking into this.

I believe in the past, we received e-mails when announcements were made via "news" and since that same "news" section also disappeared from our home page, I start finding this problematic. But if the solution is, check your "mentions" in time, then I will just do that.

You should be able to enable notifications for the NEWS board. That way you'll get a notification for every new topic started.

True, but is it a problem?

Yes - it's not accurate The submission includes both YouTube and Spotify links, so why only show it as having a YouTube link? Either show both or neither.
