Anyway, as VV rightly pointed out: "I'm afraid that this is likely a done deal. I didn't see any proposal for discussion and comment...". So the only choice left is having to get used to it.

When Americans try to sound fancy, we might call this a fait accompli.

It's a done deal and Bastien asks for feedback, which you and VV gave in detail. So maybe management does change things for the better, why so pessimistic?

Anyway, whatever you type and doesn't show in the now suggested list, is always traceable through "more results" (which shows alphabetically) and/or "detailed search" options. So nothing is lost.

You must be new around these parts. Welcome to SHS!

Anyway, this was an announcement of a change (i.e. done deal); there was no request for feedback and there usually is none requested as opposed to a proposal. As stated earlier, this is likely better because it skips the step of a long discussion only to have the proposal implemented regardless. Of course you and Management own it now. Perhaps my concerns won't come to fruition, but I'm doubtful. It was difficult to find the single name artists before.

Actually no, how would a (e.g.) "Nick" be found any easier with a detailed search. I only have a name/alias and a cover not on site? As for a song title: Showing 1-20 out of 37632

A "real life" example....

Found a lead for likely covers of "Line of Fire" and Where Were You originally by Journey covered by a "Nash":

https://www.discogs.com/Nash-Line-Of-Fire/release/4357738

Is this "Nash" on site? Searching returns the dreaded 20+, with apparently no "Nash" in the first 20 listed. Is the desired "Nash" in the 21+? If so, why isn't the exact match listed near the top?

Oh well, no a-gens readily found, so moving on....
