Meanwhile, Alan is on a roll! 26 radio stations!

The most recent station that signed up, the first in Australia, said they were made aware of the show after receiving an email about it... so it appears we have the mailshot to thank for that one!

... which gave me an additional idea!

I sent out another mailing, specifically to all our users who feature "radio" in their username or email address, 53 users to be precise. 9 mails were bounced right off the bat, but let's hope the other 44 spark some interest somewhere

NB: Our Mailchimp account is more or less bloacked, so I had to send out these announcement manually.

Now submitted the first 2 shows to Spotify for approval.

Now it's just the show without the music? Is that normal?

PS: I still think that in terms of mix the jingles are bit loud and your voice a bit quiet.

The way it works on Spotify is that you upload or record the talking bits, then select the tracks from Spotify to play...

So if you're a Spotify Free user you should get 30 second clips, and Spotify Premium users should get the full song.

If the levels aren't right then it might be an issue with Spotify's levels being different, or possibly because I had to re-record some bits. It will take me some time to get used to that and get the perfect level for their platform.

Hmm, that is odd. I know you can only listen through the app... and only people in certain countries can make shows like this at the moment... but I thought it let anyone listen to them once they were on there. I'll check in with their support about that.

freakscener does the show in Spotify work for you? Do you hear the music? Or only the spoken bits, like me?

NB: He's in Portugal

I'm not a Spotify Premium user, so basically i hear snippets of the songs and can only listen to the spoken bits.
