Suggestions: Cropping & external links

I've added during the past weeks about 200 missing pictures.

When adding a picture you can only crop after you have submitted your input. It would be easier to have the crop function too on the form "add information". Today you can not see when you upload if the picture fits.

And maybe another suggestion.

While doing my research for the pictures, I also find some external links (Discogs, Spotify, ...)

It would be nice to add them together with the comment and the picture.

I don't think that certified contributors are allowed to add external links to artists yet. Bastien Something to consider?

Yes please. I suggested earlier this month along with a few other upgrades for CCs.

Rather confident that this was suggested well before that, likely no response.

Why are external links hidden anyway?

No, currently only to releases:

But yes, it would make sense to allow CC's to to add external links to artists as well.

We can do the same as for releases, define a list of accepted domains (Discogs, Musicbrainz, Wikipedia, Facebook, Twitter, Bandcamp, RateYourMusic, IMDB, Youtube)

... or perhaps we can accept any external link?

Yes any external link would be fine from perspective. I was under the impression that already applied to releases.
