Apple Music player

SHS now also supports the Apple Music embedded media player!

If you have an Apple Music subscription we're sure you will be particularly happy, but even without subscription this allows you to listen to sound samples of approximately 1 minute.

And here's how you can help how to roll out this new feature:

Example: I Believe in You and Me by The Temptations

1. Look up the Apple Music link : https://music.apple.com/us/album/i-believe-in-you-and-me/1440930057?i=1440931335

2. Go to I Believe in You and Me and click on the Apple Icon:

3. Insert the link and you get:

... and this how little by little you will see the Apple Music links spread over this website:

Yes indeed, you need to sign in into SHS first

But you raise an interesting point, the error message is not clear:

Mathieu could we have a Please log in first-message here instead?

I guessed I wouldn't be the only one who did read the message (you don't have to log in to do that) and then tried, and forgot that I wasn't logged in yet...

Luckily I can chuckle at my own mistakes!

Yes, I came across the surprise a few days ago. Although the method to add songs from spotify is much faster and easier.

Allright, I'll add them when I find them missing.

I'll try to add them when adding YT and Spotify links. But I don't understand how to get the link.

Go to the album page on music.apple.com, click "..." next to the song, then hover over "Share" and click "Copy Link". Alternately search for the song, find it in the "songs" list in the search results and follow the same instructions.
