I as looking for recordings by India.Arie confronting my private collection with SHS and I found out that "Georgia on my mind" was in 2006 in my collection and 2020 in SHS.

As SHS desn't allow for two versions of a song by the same performer I, didn't bother to look if the 2006 version was there as well and I sent an error report for earlier release.

Same minute, I realized that the 2006 version was also in SHS, but there was no way I could withdraw my error report.

This way I occupied precious time of a editor and there was nothing I could do about it. The withdraw option, the same that exists for cover submissions, would have avoided this.

By the way, there is there a blue button that reads "Unsubscribe". I never clicked it. That word is too final. What is it for? And why is it there?

I would support a withdraw option for error reports as we have for submissions.

It means you won’t get an email alert every time there is a reply on that thread.

This answers your question here:

Error report #55219

Agreed. But there is no option for the submitter to withdraw their own error report. jojo will have to assign this to himself and then reject. Is there already a ticket for an enhancement for submitters to withdraw error reports, just like they can do for submissions?

BTW I can't see what's in Ticket #3660

I have to log in with a new username and password.

Or is it because I'm no full editor ?
