The current track shows it traveling straight through Lake County, where I live, so I might be unavailable later. Much of the population is evacuating north, but we are going to stay put.

Finger crossed then! Please let us know after the danger passes. Take care!

To avoid the confrontation to those editors, I prefer not to file an error report

Are you impliying defensive behaviour from the assigned editor?

sebcat In the past I received some agressive response to my error reports, so yes, I avoid those editors.

Working for SHS as a volunteer is a continuing learning proces which, at my age, takes longer than the younger generation, also my memory isn't like it used to be so I take notes. On the other hand; I learned to be diplomatic, polite and avoid confrontations...

Sorry to hear that Mark_Heyrman . You are a great asset to SHS. We are lucky to have you contributing.

It's not a surprise that there are some editors who will complain about a report for (e.g.) a new image that they like but complain about not being asked to approve an image that they don't like. Of course the problem is that how is one to know which is the case.

Adding additional sources or missing info in one thing, but some consistent and firm procedure should be set for revisions to existing info, images, etc.

The only procedure is: filing an error report.

If the only approved procedure for revisions to an entry assigned to another editor is an error report, why are you planning to do something else contrary as detailed in this exchange?

I can recall another personal SHS experience. Thinking something is better than nothing, once offered a sub-par image when there was none on site. The editor preferred nothing.

Thank you. So far, everything is okay where we are, but it looks bad farther south.

Thanks Mathieu, just one remark and all detailed research are concerned: "Number of results per page" isn't kept like other search settings. We must settings again for each new search…

Fixed.

Mathieu After few days, it's OK except for "Work" and "Artist": value isn't kept. I don't know if this is only for my account or for all users?

Let's enjoy having them and let every editor use them as he pleases...

It's a pity, you're doing a great job. There are no excuses for aggressive responses to error reports.

Suggested that at least managing editors can see that a TODO list is ongoing, it will avoid getting error reports like "don't forget the circular crop"

Are all ediors on board with this? Have you checked whether some of them don't want to keep the TODO list private Sylvain Guillou ?

Effectively it would no longer have anything personal and her name would have to be changed!
