If you search for the versions of the song “I was made to love you” one you’ll find is I Was Born to Love You

It states that the performer is Claudia Terres.

Wrong, there is no singer by that name. Her sir name is misspelt in the back cover of the release used for the submission of the version.

When I sent an error report to correct that, it was rejected because “we follow the spelling on the release even if the performer alias is misspelt”

I knew that stamps and bank notes with printing errors were highly appreciated. The policy of SHS does the same for songs with spelling errors on record labels or CD covers.

This is how the major sites dealt with that same release. They corrected the mistake, they didn’t perpetuate it.

The only reason I’m again “pissing against the wind” is because I would very much like to see the best musical information in SHS and I don’t believe that SHS is marching right while all the others are marching with their wrong foot forward.

a) I'll again start by saying that your tone and mannerisms are very off putting, at least to this American and I suspect others. We say that one gets more with sugar than vinegar.

b) I'll also again say that you would be much better served by asking what you are doing wrong or don't understand than declaring that SHS or an entry is wrong. There may very well be an error, but it's far more likely that you did something wrong or don't understand.

c) My search for "I was made to love you" (with which I am unfamiliar) only returns a list of Topics and 20+ Contributions, which suggests that the work and no cover are yet on site or possibly submitted.

d) One does not have to agree with an SHS rule to understand it. I differ on many SHS rules, but still can understand why SHS went with the rule it did.

When I search for Claudia Terres I find Cláudia Telles

So the alias Claudia Terres is automatically connected to Claudia Telles.

The reason her name was "misspelled", might be for contractual reasons.

This Bossa Queen release was a Japanese project, initially released for the Japanese market.

Hi Jojo!

Try look for Temmes, Tennes, Teppes, Tettes ... and you always get Claudia Telles.

I've found no evidence of a Terres alias.

I was speaking of searching in Google.

Search in SHS can only produce one result. The one you got.

Given that it's on a Japanese release, I suspect it's simply a matter of someone mispronouncing her name (it's a pretty well-known thing that some Asians pronounce "l" more like "r" - there are various websites and YouTube videos explaining it), so it was spelled the way they heard it.
