Do you know who really wrote this?

In GEMA (and BMI) is: Lyrics: Alberto Testa, Music: Tony Renis.

Mina (the singer) says: Renis, Newell, Testa, C. Baltasar (?), Amart (?). These credits are reported both in her releases and in her official site.

Here is the only place where I found a reference to Fabio Testa (presumably Alberto's brother, who might be an alias of Baltasar, or Amart, or both???).

???

But, as you may see, Mina (who did the original italian version) keeps crediting Newell for the music and these two Baltasar and Amart for the lyrics, which is weird...

And I don't know who the hell is Fabio Testa...

Anyway, the most logical conclusion is that Newell wrote the English lyrics (and not the music), while, according to:

Baltasar and Amart made the adaptation for the Spanish version.

I'm going to change them according to your suggestion (and BMI/GEMA). Thanks.

I wish I could help, although you seem to found the info you needed.

Yes, Cholo Baltasar is a Spanish translator.
