Our lead page tells us we already have 45669 artists (singers, bands, songwriters) already listed. This is already very impressive. But there are tens of thousands not listed yet. So every week, we have new names added...
So I think it would be a very cool idea to have a listing of newly accepted artists (singers or bands) that are appearing for the first time on our database.
This will be a great opportunity to "discover" some brand new artists, or to get to know artists from way back who had been totally disregarded thus far perhaps for many years and may come from the fifties, sixties etc...
A small program could be devised such that every time a new artist page is created and added to the 45669 we already have as performers and songwriters, there names would automatically appear on the "newly listed" feature with a useful links to the pages concerned for us to check.
These artists would possibly have other works not listed as yet, so it would give our editors the opportunity and the incentive to make some additional research on them to add further works to their credit.
