- Must be for the original production given in the database, i.e. not for any remake or rerun.
- Must be contemporary with the original production i.e. used as advertising for it. So, do not use DVD covers with text and images added later.
- Acceptable types are:
- Standard large vertical format movie and stage production posters (= preferential type)
- Lobby cards (smaller horizontal format posters)
- Newspaper, magazine and other advertising
- Programs, e.g. “Playbill”
- Sheet music, either for the entire production or for a principle song
- Official movie stills (photographs of scenes). Do not use screencaps
- Dates
- First official opening night
- NOT first preview performance
- NOT first tryout performance
