- Objective: Formal review of Certified Contributor's edits as to:
- Validate the correctness, pertinence and accuracy of the edit
- Evaluate which contributors are eligible for promotion
- All edits by Certified Contributors generate an Edit Review
- Exception: Deletion of unavailable Youtube video will not.
- New CC edits will automatically generate a "edit review" case in "participate"
- Reviews on previous edits can be started in the audit logs
- 4 status's: Unassigned, Assigned, Accepted, Rejected
- By default the status is Unassigned
- Rejecting reverts the update. The editor must supply a reason.
- Two main reasons why reverting is not possible:
- The value was changed in the meanwhile
- The value is mandatory (e.g. artist type)
- An email notification is sent to a CC when an update is marked accepted or rejected
- All editors (also new & junior) can validate edits
- Accepted/rejected stats are displayed on user profiles
