Pat Kirkwood sang Chase Me Charlie in 1950 in the original stage production of Ace of Clubs however a recording of this production was not released until 2004. This version - sung in "Noël/Cole: Let's Do It!" at the Chichester Festival Theatre in 1994 - is the first released recording of a performance by her. It was also her last appearance on stage.
