Comments: Cliff Richard accompanied by a band engaged by the studios - without The Drifters -, cut the up-tempo film version of 'Living Doll' for his first feature film 'Serious Charge' in a sort of rock 'n' roll style, thereby keeping with the setting of the movie. But as Richards didn't like that version at all, and he re-recorded it in a slowed-down ballad-style version for the release of the soundtrack EP, called Serious Charge as well, accompanying the film release.
