Peaked at #22 in the Flanders (Dutch-speaking) region of Belgium on November 22, 1975.
While on tour in Australia, Glen Campbell heard composer Larry Weiss' recording of 'Rhinestone Cowboy' and immediately knew he wanted to record it. Campbell recorded the vocal melody, then producers Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter overdubbed his voice to harmonize with himself. The idea was that a duet would compel listeners to focus on the words. It became the singer's biggest hit of his career and Potter and Lambert were nominated for a Grammy Award for their production. - Rating
