Comments: "Rockin' Years" was a 1991 #1 Country hit by Parton & Ricky Van Shelton, but it was originally intended to be a duet between Parton & Jones. They recorded it in 1988, but apparently his label contract ended and it wasn't released. Several years later Parton recorded it with Van Shelton and it became her last #1 hit.
