Comments: Electronic recreation of Gustav Holst's orchestral suite of the same name. The album was removed from the market for some years after Holst's daughter claiming Tomita had 'mutilated' the compositions, which forced the record company to withdraw 30,000+ records from the stores.
The LP was the last RCA release in the quadraphonic sound format.
Some local pressings only feature the planets' names as titles.
