At the end of his world tour - in late 1939 - Nick Lucas appeared on the Tivoli theatre circuit in Australia and while in Sydney cut six sides recorded for Regal Zonophone Records. All tracks were recorded in Sydney on 22 November, 1939 and released only in Australia.
Nick Lucas stayed in Australia for six months probably due to the outbreak of the Second World War.
