- Recordings of 1947 radio programs. The first program was on Bing's "Philco Radio Time" program of January 15, 1947 and was such a success that Bing had Jolson back nine more times. Jolson was in San Francisco to do yet another, when he was struck down by a fatal illness in 1950.
