This Japanese compilation contains the final eleven songs The Stanley Brothers recorded for Columbia (Nov. 1949-Apr. 1952). All of the tracks had been previously released except for "Let's Part the Best of Friends", which was previously unreleased at the time. The remainder of the Columbia sides, were included on the companion Vol. 1 LP. Both album's also came with a lyric sheet, and were sequenced in the order the songs were recorded.
More recently all the Columbia material can be found on the 1996 compilation, The Complete Columbia Stanley Brothers (CK 53798).
