Some modern sources suggest that this album was released at the end of 1962 as "Bill Black's Record Hop" and that it was re-issued in 1963 with a revised track order and new title "Let's Twist Her". However, contemporary sources (Billboard and Cash Box magazines) show that "Let's Twist Her" was the original title and that the first release was at the end of 1961, with "Bill Black's Record Hop" being the new title used towards the end of 1962.
