If you read the notes in the pictures of the release, they name Skip Martin as conductor

& recorded for radio release in 1946. This release was from Hep records.


Hep Records was founded in 1974 by its present owner Alastair Robertson. The Metronome Series is the original Hep label, its main aim was to issue albums of well kxnown jazz musicians and bands of the mid 1940's drawn from radio acetates and transcriptions.

There are over 90 CD's in the Metronome Series.
