The translators on this are listed as "Seeger, Doll". I could not enter these names in the translator field as the system insisted on changing the second name to "The Doll" so I'm having to input them here. On the label DeKnight is miscredited as "Knight."


This single isn't on Discogs but is listed on 45cat at http://www.45cat.com/record/975445. I don't know if this Swiss release was the first or if there was an actual Austrian issue of this record. This is the earliest release of this version that I could find referenced online.

According to the liner notes on The Story of Rock Around the Clock (http://www.45worlds.com/cdalbum/cd/bck2712815), the first release of this cover was in 1955 on Austrotron 45-9754. I haven't been able to find information online about this issue as yet.
