Al Rex was the bass player for Bill Haley and the Saddlemen in 1950-51 and then with Bill Haley and His Comets from 1955 to 1958. He was also a solo recording artist; this cover was recorded in 1962. Several other members of the Comets worked as session musicians on this recording. Note: the linked video shows the 1962 label, but a picture sleeve used for a issue from later in the 1960s.
