History
For the record..., for my notes I index recordings to the "primary release" and generally submit accordingly. I take no position on an earlier single in the case.
The official databases are cumbersome for me to use and PRO work codes have no personal value to me, so I defer to the editors on such matters....
Given your volume of submissions, I would encourage you to do a little effort.
On top of lots of other efforts, I listen to recordings in full prior to submission and filing error reports. I can assure you that I do far more than a "little effort". Also, given your own clear lack of effort in reviewing legitimate error reports, I'm not sure that you want to go down this path....

This is what I'm talking about. You claim that I am disrespectful and not self-aware, yet you throw out "do a little effort" and "expected better". I suspect I exerted far more effort in listening to songs and sometimes researching the basics of a recording than the editors do when processing. While this original didn't need such efforts, I did put in more than usual time and energy to find apparently rare covers of this one.....
Your original "news" post on work codes stated that such info is optional, and I stated in that thread to set expectations and in this post that I have no plans to provide them. Moreover, this submission predates the change to the form asking for work codes. While I do not expect every editor to remember those set expectations, I do expect them to remember and/or respect them when reminded....
