Hello, are you really sure that this is a version of Jag och Bobby (and not of, f. ex., Bobby McGee)?

I didn't find any translator credits on the release pages for the album, but, as Ewert Ljusberg shows, he (so far) always did his own translations. So, if you have any additional info at hand, please link to your source.

Thank you!

I am sorry. At that time I didn't know that it mattered which song was active when I used the 'add' button. I just thought that since I had that list of covers of 'Bobby McGee' as the root, it would add to the root. Apparently it doesn't...

Also I didn't know where to look for other information (other than http://www.originals.be). Nowadays I use Discogs and others.

I'm still learning!

You interesting work is appreciated - and Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime Smile

You may want to consider using https://secondhandsongs.com/page/Bookmarks#composers for songwriters etc.

One thing is for sure: Ljusberg's version has different lyrics than any other of the six(!) Swedish ones we already list.

Still and to avoid stating [unknown] for the translation, we'd need some kind of evidence. We'll keep on looking...

Yes, it's wonderful sometime the way you can stumble upon some data. I'm a big fan of serendipity.

But I'm not really a researcher, just a musician who likes covers but who is more into the music than the lyrics.

By the way "Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime" also is a nice song to look into. I already saw Daniel Lohues's name. Thanks for the tip!

SMDB confirms that Ewert Ljusberg is the translator.

Thanks lot, Dave! I had checked their database (and others) in vain.

Added, thanks (but not the Franzén version)...

No - SMDB confirm they have not yet had the release and will chase Ewert Ljusberg for it.

Album only released in 2019 and we are living in strange times.

Yes, I read that. The important thing is their confirmation for Ljusgren being the translator. Great you asked!

It's normal that it takes at least a year, rather more, until releases get listed with institutions like that. And 2020 doesn't seem to exist, yet, at SMDB's website.
