Taboo (first English version)

Tabú

Original most likely from 1935 by the Lecuona boys. I'm looking for the first version with lyrics by S.K. Russell (also referred to as Bob or Bobby Russell)

According to http://www.spaceagepop.com/lecusong.htm it was released in 1941, but by who? Stan Kenton did a version that year but this is most likely an instrumental. (Added in the meantime)
