History
I Meteors released "She Loves Me" twice: on the album "I Meteors" and on "Beatlemania" (see attached images).
On both occasions Giuseppe Cassia is not credited, implicating both performances are straight covers. Probably just sloppiness, but this means we do need to find some additional evidence to be 100% sure (Your slogan: We be able to be precise? We try it!)
Looking forward to some feedback !
Kind regards,
Erik
Normally I wouldn't be as strict as the YouTube video proofs that they recorded an adaptation, but after the "Sick and Tired" hiccup and because they released it on 2 releases, I'm a bit careful
Hope you don't mind !
Erik, I do not mind at all if you are in doubt, indeed!
We both know that there are so many messes of the web and beyond.
I'm glad to have these discussions, because even your doubts are well founded and we rightly find the most appropriate solutions.
"She Loves You" sung by "I Meteors" is not known in the original English version, but they did an adaptation in Italian, yet in their album is highlighted by the title only in English, but in Italy, in those years, there have been many pasties.
The Italian title is "Lei Ti Ama" and the LP is not mentioned is that the Italian composer Giuseppe Cassia (it's a very serious thing.)
If you listened to the video of I Meteors, you may have noticed that sing in Italian, apart from the repetitive phrase "She loves you yeah, yeah, yeah."
The author G. Cassia is located in the disks; of "Fausto Leali and the Italian group" I Marino's "below.

And if you listen to their songs on YouTube, you will see that they are identical to that of "I Meteors".

Lei ti ama was added ten years ago!
Two questions:
1. Who is Salinelli?
2. Who released the song first? I suppose I Meteors (two hints: the title still in English and no mention of the Italian authors).

O forse "She Loves You" faceva più figo di "Lei ti ama"...
