”This Ring” by Doc Delay samples/covers...?

Thanks anyway, Bastien, for having a look at my latest earworm (ver d'oreille). This fabulous song is really bothering me and I have tried to find it in various ways, to no avail. I even asked the author of the cover (Doc Delay) directly, who confirmed the original is on Youtube, but could not disclose more ”for obvious reasons”. All he said was ”It's a lounge 45 from las vegas released under the name of the vocalist”. Unfortunately, this is not enough for me to identify the song, and therefore I asked for your help. Do you know anybody in Vegas...? :-)
