Atardi (Evening)

For the album Dedicated to You, I'd like to add a cover of Atardi ("Evening") composed by Curaçao’s most famous musician, Rudy Plaate.

But I'm struggling to find out more about the original composition and early performances of the work. Can anyone help?

No idea if it's the original but Plaate recorded it himself in 1972. https://www.discogs.com/Conjunto-Hnos-Aparicio-Tropical-Curacao/release/2618500

I don't see any mention of Plaate as a performer on that record, but he's certainly credited as the composer.

The only recording by Plaate himself I could find was not released until 1996, although it might very well have been recorded considerably earlier.
