Popup Ads

Suddenly, I am getting popup ads here, ON EVERY PAGE. I think this recent development is on my end, not yours, because I am getting these on my Windows 10 computer, using Chrome, but not on my iPad, using Safari. I think I am also getting them on my Android Samsung S7 phone, using the Samsung Internet Browser.

The reason I think this may be on my end is that a web site I have been using for personal development on my Windows 10 computer has requested that I disable any popup blockers in order to be able to see some of this site's content. As a result of this, I am probably getting popup ads on sites where I wasn't getting them before.

Is there any way you can get revenue by using ads other than popup ads? I can probably turn my popup blocker back on when I leave that other site. But I have not been running across popup ads on other sites I regularly visit since I turned my popup blocker off. Perhaps popup ads, at least in the U.S., are no longer an "in thing".

Can you show me a screen shot? We're working with multiple advertisers, but none of them should be allowed to show pop-ups.

I am getting these on a Windows 10 computer using Chrome. I did a screen shot the only way I know how to do it by pressing the PrtScr button. I could not paste it into this text box, but I was able to paste it into a Word document (*.docx), which I have added as an attachment using the option below.

This very annoying popup keeps changing content every few seconds.

I can get rid of each popup and keep it off as long as I stay on that page. As soon as I go to another page, the popups start up again.

I see. It only covers a small portion of the screen though. I was imagining something much worse. It looks tolerable to me. We have to find the right balance of course.

Would you be interested in paying a small fee to get rid of all ads?

Sorry for the delayed response. I don't come here much any more solely because of these ads. They cover a significant part of the page for me. And I didn't always have it here. I would rather see an ad on a dedicated part of the page instead of one that pops up everywhere I go.

As for paying a fee, I'd consider it.

I came today only because I wanted to find out who did the original version of one particular song that was not listed on my other go-to site, The Originals Project.
