I'm looking for more information on the writer of the song 'Be By Me'.
The song was recorded on January 29 1959, but remained unreleased until it was included on a German compilation called 'Golden Favorites' (MCA Coral 6 22 268)
That release credits a certain 'Field' as the composer of the song, but as the song is not listed in any copyrights databases (or elsewhere), I'm stuck.
