serach function issue

There seems to be a problem here-- i search for song or artist and get discussion or submission; going on for 2 days

Seems to be working fine, here. Are you positive the artist or song you are searching for are in the database?

yes-- given their widespread popularity (e.g.) Bruce Springsteen, and if not i usually just get a "nothing found" message; this is a redirection to a different page

but ok-- it usually goes away/corrects itself sooner or later-- this time it's taking longer than usual

Well, if the song wasn't in the database (I'm pretty sure Bruce is), but had a discussion or submission, you will get directed to one of those. Hopefully it worked out.
