I found this cover of Della Reese's Everyday on Knock on Wood. But I can't pin down the original French chanson that Creatore and Peretti adapted. Does anyone know?
There is a further cover of the English adaptation by Richard Allen, and a French adaptation by Pierre Senecal, so I'm keen to get the root work into the database if possible.

A few follow-up questions:
1. ISWC suggests that Monnot wrote the tune as an instrumental first, and then Rouzaud added lyrics separately. Do you have any evidence that Monnot's instrumental was released first?
2. Is Piere Senecal's version a cover of the original with a different title, or a new adaptation?
3. ISWC also suggests that Laurent Voulzy has released a cover of Gloria, but I've not found evidence of this.
