Thx JJ

Wonder what track #2 is then. Anyway, I'll treat this post as a submission and let others take it from here....

VV

"Mou Senyor" is a Spanish adaptation of Rock My Soul

VV, I have given you the opportunity to help the editors by submitting both songs to the database.

I would really appreciate that.

I'm afraid that since I am unfamiliar with or have any personal interest in either the "We Shall" or "Rock" adaption, I could never submit due to my standards. I do have the "Universal" adaption in my notes and a likely adaption of This Land Is Your Land under review, so I may eventually submit those.

Preferably, someone with greater interest in this release will handle more thoroughly and faster....

I had a look at the album... There are many issues involved. Some of them:

The tracklist on Amazon is partly mashed up and doesn't correspond to the listening snippets but can be sorted out (see link below). Even if not always by the titles, quite some of the songs can easily be identified by brief listening, though.

I checked three copyright societies in a row (incl. the Spanish SGAE) for translators of four of the well-known songs. In vain - and I'm not going to add up to 15 translations without being able to credit any of them.

In spite of the CD title, it is a various artists compilation and I couldn't track down possibly earlier releases of the tracks.

Info about the recording artists is hard to find, and if so in Spanish or Catalan (which is actually the language of the songs).

Summing up: Without support this is too tiresome (even for me).

PS: "This Land..." is track 15.

I suspected Catalan, but I had no problems deferring to JJ....
