Hi,

I am new here and try to add some information but I fail to receive a 100% value for what I submit. I.e. https://secondhandsongs.com/case/115295 has only received 81% but there was nothing else that I could have added. There was no open field anymore, so what do I need to do?

Hello Floyd,

That's really weird, because I filled it in exactly all the same fields as you did with exactly the same content... and I got 100%!

Next time it happens, would you mind making a printscreen? Thanks!

Ok, I will do that. It was also the reason why i have the ASIN as a catalog number. What should be given if a file does not have a catalog number instead? how can 100% be reached in this case?

If you can't provide all information that helps us for processing submission, then the best thing is to accept you can't reach 100% for that entry. It's not a requirement to achieve 100%, we just want to give an incentive to be as complete as possible.

I guess some people won't care about the completeness, while other will OCD on 100% completeness Smile. But maybe we can make our intentions clear in a better way. I'm open for suggestions.

Mathieu, maybe you could add a checkbox for situations when they don't know the catalog number/EAN (or one doesn't exist), like you have on the New Release form for us editors?

A check-box is a good idea, but I'd prefer it not to count towards the completeness score. That way we keep the incentive for submitters to complete as much as the form as possible, as Mathieu says.
