Going through my (relatively small) list of orphaned performances, I added a Crazy Frog album for a cover of "Daddy DJ" and the album also contains a cover of the famous "Cha Cha Slide".
According to https://www.kstatecollegian.com/2019/02/04/how-low-can-you-go-the-history-of-the… the song originated as the "Casper Slide" but this version wasn't released due to copyright reasons. It was re-recorded with live music to get around copyright restrictions and named "Casper Slide Part 2". At some point it got renamed "Cha Cha Slide"...
However, things get a bit confusing if you look at ISWC.
Cha Cha Slide: Willie Perry Jr (aka DJ Casper / Mr. C The Slide Man) and Kapiece Tyrus
Casper Slide Part 2: Willie Perry Jr and Marvel Thompson
As far as I can tell there's no difference between the two other than the name.
Who do I credit for this?
