Error correction

Good morning - I created my first original entry yesterday and discovered this morning that I entered it as a web performance rather than a performance from a television broadcast. I tried to correct this, only to find that the television show had not already been entered and that there's apparently no way for me to do so. Does anyone know where I should go from here? Thanks.

David - nice to have you with us. Could you share more details about the cover including relevant links to the web cover and sources? We only accept broadcasts where they were the first performance. Later broadcasts should be entered as a web cover as you have done.

Thanks for getting back. I've seen cover performances from live tv broadcasts posted here many times as standard "cover versions;" that's why I thought this should be posted as such. I tried attaching the link but I kept getting an message saying that there was an error downloading attachment. The link is - on your site, it's located at Clip of Betty White Singing It's a Good Day (1954). As indicated, it was a live performance from a tv broadcast of "The Betty White Show," apparently from 1954. If I posted this correctly, I lucked out; either way, let me know so that I'll have this done correctly in the future. Thanks again.

Hi Dwgaao yes it looks right to me. Broadcasts can only be added if they are the first performance of a song - or if they are released subsequently on video, vinyl, CD or digitally. In other cases web covers are the way to go, as you’ve done.
